MacBook Air’s next-generation model is exacting to have a display size of 13.3 inches.

This MacBook Pro will appear with a Mini-LED display. A new technology that depends on thousands of backlit tiny LEDs to give higher variance ratios and deeper blacks. TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo independently reports that a MacBook Air with a Mini-LED display is also in the works.

Kuo’s investor note was obtained by 9to5Mac, and it says that the MacBook Air with Mini-LED display will come somewhere in mid-2022. This could suggest that Apple may launch it at WWDC 2022 or even during its spring event.

The analyst says that the next-gen MacBook Air will reportedly come with Mini-LED display technology and may come with a display size of 13.3 inches.

Kuo had earlier stated a MacBook Air launch for 2022 but didn’t specify a particular schedule. The next year’s MacBook Air is also exacted to see a design refresh and integrate Apple’s M2 chip as well.

Gurman states that the new Apple MacBook Pro models were thought to be launched earlier, but complexities around the new mini-LED display have backed up production.

Expected Specifications of Apple MacBook Pro

A mini-LED display uses 10,000 mini-LEDs, catering for greater control of surrounded backlighting, higher brightness, and deeper blacks. Apple states that its Liquid Retina XDR display gives a “true to life” picture with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

It also highlights 1000 nits of full-screen brightness and 1600 nits of peak brightness. The MacBook Pro mirrors for later this year are said to come with Apple’s M1X chipset. But Gurman did not talk about the processor in his latest Power On newsletter.

He, nevertheless, said that the MacBook Pro is a perfect device for those who need

  • more RAM with app development,
  • photoshop, and
  • heavy video editing.

The MacBook Air, on the other hand, is perfect for browsing, email, and light photo editing tasks.

Earlier reports show that the new MacBook Pro patterns launching in September are exacted to come in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes and may be powered by the Apple M1X processor.

The M1X chip is supposed to greatly outpace the performance and capacities of the current M1 chips.

Expectations from the launch

First, Bloomberg proclaimed that the new MacBook Pro would be configurable to up to 64GB of RAM. The future MacBook Pro models are rumored to appear with a design change to the MacBook Pro lineup.

  • The new MacBook Pros are expected to feature a flat-edged design.

  • An SD-card slot reader.

The MacBook Pro models are also said to highlight an improved variant of the Apple M1 Silicon chip.
