Google Pixel 7a

The Pixel 7a, Google’s future mid-range device that will replace the Pixel 6a, will debut on May 10 at the I/O 2023 expo. Although the formal announcement will not be disclosing right away, tipsters are working nonstop to update us regularly on new information on the phone. These photographs showcase the design in all its splendor, and unexpectedly, it resembles most previous Pixel phones nearly precisely.

The Google Pixel 7a will release before the Google Pixel 8 later in the year, and the most recent leak on the mid-ranger has provided us with a few real-world images of the device and information on its statistics.

Google Pixel 7a will be the successor of Google Pixel 6, which looks similar to that of Google Pixel 6. The images depict the anticipated Google Pixel 7a design, which includes the now-standard Pixel camera bar around the back and a cut-out for the selfie camera at the top of the display.

This information came via Twitter user Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), who is not the most active leaker but has previously provided reliable information about smartphones.

As we assume that the Google pixel 7a is on its way to release, The other Pixel 7 series were fully unveiled in October of last year; thus, May 2023 may mark the launch of the Pixel 7a. Although Google hasn’t released any dates for IO 2023 yet, there’s little question that it will take place.

Specifications

According to the tweet, the specifications of this phone include a 6.1-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixel) 90 Hz OLED screen, making it comparable to the Google Pixel 6a with the exception of the higher refresh rate. This ought to provide slightly smoother animations and scrolling than the previous one.

As predicted, the Tensor G2 CPU is reportedly powering everything, and the back camera is a dual-lens 64MP+12MP setup. Moreover, it also mentions 5W wireless charging. While not particularly quick, it is a first for the mid-range Pixel series.

No debut date is mentioned here, although the Pixel 6a was announced at Google IO 2022 the previous year. As the developer conference for this year has been scheduled on May 10, it is sensible to presume that the Pixel 7a will be unveiled then.

Other Features

One of the images shows the SIM tray of the smartphone, where you can see the rubber gasket, suggesting that the gadget will also feature some degree of waterproofing.

The rear panel features a labyrinth design, the Type-C port surrounds the phone on both sides by speaker grilles, there is just one punch-hole display, and the bezel is uniformly thick. According to the reports, Google reportedly closed down the gadget as soon as they knew of its existence. Prior to that, the owner did confirm that it had a 90Hz display, which is consistent with the earlier leak. Other leaked details include the smartphone’s camera, a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 unit and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens is there with the phone.

One of the photos displays the device’s fast boot interface, confirming earlier rumours that the Pixel 7a will use LPDDR5 Memory and UFS 3.1 storage. However, it indicates that the smartphone will feature more RAM—more specifically, 8 GB and 128 GB of storage. Moreover, Google often only releases one version of the reasonably priced Pixel. Instead of the customary 6 GB of Memory, we will receive 8 GB this year.
