Sony ZV-E10: The second camera of its ZV Series
Sony has announced the second camera of its ZV series which targets video content creators. Whereas unique new camera is Sony ZV-E10 and has a 24.2-megapixel image sensor.

Sony has freshly launched the ZV-E10 mirrorless camera, while the second camera of its ZV series after the Sony ZV-1 was released last year.
The series cameras target video content creators, furthermore by launching the ZV-E10, the company has taken the concept of vlogging a notch higher. The aforementioned is because the camera flaunts several vlog-specific features.
While some of the features have been borrowed from Sony ZV-1, such as the Product Showcase setting and Bokeh Switch button, there are some new features as well included on the ZV-E10.
Going into the technical details, this new camera has a 24.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor. Hence recording 4K videos at up to 30FPS, and FullHD videos at up to 120FPS.
There is an 11FPS continuous shooting supported by the camera. This outstanding real-time tracking feature works for both humans and animals while shooting stills.
Efficient as a Camera for Bloggers
It has a dedicated button to swap between Slow and Quick modes, during Photo and Video modes.
This allows users to easily record slow-motion videos hence not changing settings manually. A standard though active mode image stabilization is present on the ZV-E10 for taking stable video shots.
One of the highlights of the latest vlogging camera is being able to live stream hassle-free. Amidst the ZV-E10, users can Livestream directly through the camera, using the USB-C cable attached to their desktop, or a laptop.
The camera includes headphones and microphone ports. For better sound output, it uses a directional 3-capsule microphone and windscreen.
Because it uses the UVC/UAC (USB Video Class) protocol, you don’t need a video capture card for streaming.
Thus just plug it in via USB and it’ll appear as a standard video source like a webcam. Consequently means you can also use it as a high-quality camera for your Zoom or Google Meet video chats.

Video Recording Tops Out At 4K / 30P with Oversample of 6K Footage
Hybrid log-gamma, S-Log2, and S-Log3 profiles are for videographers who plan to grade footage after capture. Thus Slow-motion footage can be recorded up to 1080 / 120p.
Audio
It comes with a Microphone and 3.5mm headphone jacks. Also, a three-capsule directional microphone is built in with a windscreen in the box.
Livestreaming via USB is not for phones with Android 11, though not yet available with iOS devices. The ZV-E10 claims up to 80 minutes of video recording. Henceforth each single battery charge is almost double the ZV-1’s claiming 45 minutes.
Price and Availability of Sony ZV-E10 Camera
The ZV-E10 has arrived in two colour variants -black and white. The white colour option is new and looks quirky.
The price and availability of the Sony ZV-E10 in India are not yet certain. However, following the company’s usual launch timeline, it should be in India in a few weeks.
The Sony ZV-1 will go on sale in August for $699 body-only or $799 with a 16-50mm kit lens.
